Problem:
NAPD moved into a new warehouse across town and needed a company to dismantle and move their existing rack system, and incorporate it into their new distribution center.
Solution:
They called on Specialized Storage Solutions to move their existing system after we installed new rack in a double-deep configuration that gave them 35% more capacity than selective rack. We also installed a catwalk mezzanine that gave them increased capacity in their small parts picking area, and protective barrier rail throughout their new facility to protect personnel.
Result:
We have been contacted to dismantle rack in another facility across the country, move it, and re-erect it in NAPD’s new distribution center adjacent to the existing facility.
