Problem:
Rudolph Research Analytical in Hackettstown, NJ, a manufacturer of analytical instrumentation, needed to create more space in their warehouse by taking advantage of the unused space over the top of their existing bulk shelving. They didn’t want to discard their existing shelving but wanted to find a way to incorporate it into the new design, and needed a better way to access bulk supplies with the existing lift equipment.
Solution:
Specialized Storage Solutions was asked to come up with an efficient system that enabled them to solve this problem. We proposed installing a shelving supported mezzanine with a durable Resin Deck finish in the area, and furnished signed and sealed drawings for their township permit application.
Result:
As you can see from the picture, Specialized Storage helped them DOUBLE their capacity using new shelving to support their existing, while creating more space for bulk storage with pallet rack. They’ve been able to access all inventory, use all the available cubic space, and maintain an attractive, clean, environment that has become a showplace for new customers.
