Problem:
UCC Dive in Essex, CT expanded their existing facility because of an increase in business and needed to create more area for storage and training. They contacted Specialized Storage Solutions to see if we could help them solve their space problem and maximize the new space in the most efficient manner.
Solution:
Specialized Storage Solutions helped design and then built a custom-fabricated platform surrounding a diving tank that enabled their new hires to jump in and learn to weld underwater. The platform was designed with removable railing around the tank opening and with a diamond plate deck to maximize strength and durability. We also furnished and installed new pallet rack around the building perimeter to enable them to use the vertical storage space and new building height to maximize efficiency.
Result:
The new platform and racks are being utilized to their maximum potential and UCC Dive’s business is booming!
